Philadelphia is now 45% black, with a large Chinese population, and the clearly Christian intentions held by William Penn have been forgotten. At Independence Hall, tour guides describe the Pennsylvania colony as being founded for the “religious freedom of Jews, Christians and Muslims.” Callers added to the discussion in the 2nd hour.
