Hadding Scott and Carolyn Yeager complete Chapter 13, “Jewish” Plan to Split Society by “Ideas.”

This chapter discusses the plan described in The Protocols to attack Collective Opinion by introducing “the poison of liberalism” and  the concept of  “broad-mindedness” which descends quickly into material-mindedness. First comes the prostitution of service to profits, then the disappearance of the profits.

Rather than a division between “Capital” and “Labor,” there is brought about a division between Gentile laborers and Gentile managers, who have to go to the Jewish capitalists for funds. A total revolution will be necessary to unfasten the International Jewish system’s grip on the world. The chapter ends with the question whether Gentiles are competent to do it.

Carolyn Yeager and Hadding Scott complete Chapter 12, Jewish Protocols Claim Partial Fulfillment, after which they begin Chapter13, “Jewish” Plan to Split Society by “Ideas.”

The Jews have introduced “cheap” luxuries and entertainments to create what Ford calls “looseness” in Gentile youth. These include sport clothes, moving pictures, and show parks like “Coney Island,” shown at right in a poster from the time.

Chapter 13 – Jewish-instigated ideas bring about Disintegration. They attack Collective Opinion,  the “standards” and “ideals” that are the invisible bonds of unity and make up the shared attitudes of Gentile society. Next week we will complete Chapter 13.

Hadding Scott and Carolyn Yeager read and comment on Chapter 12, "Jewish Protocols" Claim Partial Fulfillment, after they complete Chapter 11 left from last week:  "Jewish Estimate" of Gentile Human Nature. 

Chapt. 11 ends with a description of the society the Protocols are aiming for - one in which Gentiles are deeply divided against each other. Chapt.12 looks at how the Protocols are written in the present tense, indicating that much of the desired objectives have already been accomplished. This includes the subverting of Economics, making people believe that theories are laws. The same subversion has been done with justice and the courts, with religion, with literature, with education and culture.  Also mentioned is the demoralization of our youth via Jewish control of our youth agencies. The writers of The International Jew then speak out against what they call "luxury" in the form of knick-knacks and gew-gaws, cheap jewelry, and even "Coney Island" type recreations - saying that these, though "pleasant," materially and spiritually devastate a people.

Carolyn Yeager and Hadding Scott read and comment on Chapter 11:  “Jewish” Estimate of Gentile Human Nature

This is the first of several chapters which analyze in depth the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, a book that was causing a great stir in 1920-21 and which was taken seriously by Henry Ford and his editors and writers. Ford, however, did not insist the book was a genuine Jewish world plan. As he says in this chapter:  “And whether these Protocols are of Jewish origin or not, whether they represent Jewish interests or not, this is exactly the state of the world, of the Gentile world, today.”

It’s up to each student to consider the question of authenticity for him/herself.

Hadding Scott and Carolyn Yeager read and comment on Chapter 10:  “An Introduction to the Jewish Protocols.”

The documents most frequently mentioned by those who are interested in the theory of Jewish World Power rather than in the actual operation of that power in the world today, are those 24 documents known as “The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.” Who gave it the name of “Elders of Zion” is not known [but it is] the most comprehensive program for world subjugation that has ever come to public knowledge. Carolyn Yeager and Hadding Scott read and comment on Chapter 9:  The Historic Basis of Jewish Imperialism

An important chapter that discusses the evidence of a Jewish World movement, the long-standing idea of a Chosen People, the Jewish Autocrat, the “exilarchs,” and the Sanhedrin.  From here we will move into nine chapters that examine the themes from the Protocols of Zion.

Image: “Synagogue” was part of a large mural painted by John Singer Sargent for the Boston Public Library. In 1919, because of protest from Jewry that this particular part was “antisemitic” in that it portrayed 'Synagogue' as an old hag while portraying “Church” as a lovely young girl, the mural project was suspended and the paintings were never shown. It first went up for public view in 2003.

Hadding Scott and Carolyn Yeager read and comment on Chapter 8: Does a Definite Jewish World Program Exist?

Image: The finances of the world are in control of Jews; their decisions and their devices are themselves our economic law. The Jew’s history is one of wandering among all the nations. They have a clearer world-sense than any other people, because the world has been their path. The political element inheres in the fact that the Jews form a nation in the midst of the nations. The Gentile, never having been trained in secrets or invisible unity, immediately concludes that such things cannot be. It was the Zionist program that was followed by the (Paris) Peace Conference. It must therefore be regarded as the official program.

Carolyn Yeager and Hadding Scott read and comment on Chapter 7, "Arthur Brisbane Leaps to the Help of Jewry."

Image: Arthur Brisbane in his newspaper office in New York. He was one of the best-known editors of the 20th Century -- becoming editor of William Randolf Hearst's New York Journal and a close friend of Hearst. His syndicated column had an estimated daily readership of over 20 million.

Brisbane's editorial of Sunday, June 20, 1920, titled "Facts: An Antidote to Prejudice," is the subject of this chapter which appeared in Ford's Dearborn Independent 2 weeks later on July 3, 1920.

Brisbane's editorial can be read here, as a reprint in the Canadian Jewish Chronicle of July 2, 1920.  The front page of this edition of the Chronicle is also of interest, under "Poor Ford" where Henry Ford is described by the Jews as being either mentally unbalanced or mentally defective.
