The Heretics' Hour: How and Why the United States "turned" Poland's foreign policy in 1939
Also, the latest developments in the persecution of Cornelius Gurlitt and the “Looted Nazi Art” scam and why it is a scam.
Nov. 18, 2013
How two United States ambassadors serving President Franklin Roosevelt worked to wreck feelings of trust between Poland’s Foreign Office under Josef Beck and the government of Adolf Hitler. German Historian Dr. Alfred Schickel’s paper “Germany and Poland in American secret documents” examines the secret memorandums and telegrams sent by Drexel Biddle, U.S. Ambassador to Poland, which contained secret conversations held by William C. Bullitt, U.S. Ambassador to France, with Joself Beck and other high-level Poles such as Marshall Ridz-Smigly. Some important points:
- Beck met three times with Ambassador to France Bullitt during his private visit to Warsaw in November 1937;
- The content of these and other conversations were contained in four “confidential memoranda” sent by Ambassador Biddle to Sec. of State Cordell Hull (and Roosevelt);
- Poland accepted Germany’s actions on behalf of the Sudetan Germans in Czechoslovakia in 1938, and the break-up of the Czech state, because through it she also gained autonomy for Poles in the Teschen region;
- Biddle’s secret telegram of March 29, 1939 revealed that the planned response by Beck to any specific suggestion from Berlin would now be a “dignified, polite but firm” no;
- The U.S. even deceived Poland about the “Secret Additional Protocol” signed by Ribbentrop and Molotov on Aug. 21, and so the British government signed the Anglo-Polish mutual assistance agreement on August 25, 1939.

Bullitt played a prominent role in giving Polish diplomats the “American view” in 1938-39. His second wife, Louise Bryant, was the widow of John Reed, the famous American “Red.”

All this “democratic countries” gibberish sounds very familiar.
Poland had legally no business in Danzig. It was a Free State under League of Nations mandate with 98% Germans. The entire city was build by Germans. What “honor” are these Poles defending?
This is very difficult for WN Poles to admit nowadays. They were duped by the Americans and acted extremely dishonorably.
Free Danzig was just a landing harbor for the League (US). The corridor was cut out to encircle Germany from Danzig to Silesia. And the Soviets got Czechoslovakia for the same reason.
The American-Polish coalition started WW2. What was the American hooknose sniffing around in Europe anyways? That’s like Germany telling the US how to divide Texas back then.
All Eurpeans came to a consensus and then America interrupts and calls it “undemocratic”?
The Poles have the main responsibilty for the war for willfully going along with this. That’s why the history channel gives them this victim status. Poland could have said, no.

Thanks for the comment, Markus.
I have just read the few pages that are available in the Richard Lukas book “Forgotten Holocaust” on Amazon, and it’s already clear to me that it is schlock. I really can’t stand to read stuff like this. Already on page 3 in Chapter One, the unsubstantiated charges against Hitler are being made.
Example #1) …Hitler’s admonition of August 22, 1939, when he authorized killing “without pity or mercy all men, women and children of Polish descent or language. Only in this way can we obtain the living space we need.” 9 [Footnote 9: Gumkowski and Leszczynski, "Poland Under Nazi Occupation," 59] But this doesn’t tell us where this quote comes from. Did some officer relay that Hitler said this (hearsay) or was it written in a document? Turns out there are 3 versions of this so-called secret speech, and all are in doubt. This “quote” is no good.
Example #2) During the Wehrmacht’s administration of Poland … in what Polish historians have described as “a merciless and systematic campaign of biologic destruction.” 10 [Footnote 10: Ibid.] Same book but what Polish historians? Where did they describe this? Another no good “quote.”
Example #3) The Wehrmacht committed approximately 60% of [714] executions, with the police responsible for the remainder. 11 [Footnote 11: Duraczynski, in book in Polish with Polish title.] Lukas’ book is in English. How is one to check out this footnote?!
Example #4) An English woman was an eyewitness to the criminal activities of the Germans in Bydgoszcz at this time. ..followed by a long quote from this unnamed “woman” of the horrors she saw. 12 [Footnote 12: Black Book of Poland is the source] !! No further information.
Richard Lukas may call himself a historian but he is not a scholar. All his writing seems to be about Poland … and Jewish-Polish relations. What kind of a historian is Peter Zychowicz if he recommends Lukas as the authority on German crimes in Poland? And sympathetically interviews him for one of his magazines.

Carolyn,
If the Poles want to be CHRISTUS EUROPÆ, how about they repent and speak Truth?
Apparently, it’s all about Poland for them, their “Drang nach Westen” and not the Aryan race. They exterminated 15 million Germans off Teutonic homeland.
How about taking on the responsibilty for the downfall of the Aryan race and a Passion of Christ walk to Auschwitz to bring this “epicenter of evil” down?
Auschwitz is in their country. It’s theirs to fix this. Because of this “epicenter of evil”, our countries suffer. Not Poland of course. The Arabs and Africans won’t ever go there and living off of the EU is better than nothing, but the Germanic and Romantic world is flooded by non-Whites and economically and culturally destroyed.
If Poland is Jesus, how about some sacrifice for the world and stop being selfish?
I don’t demand anything from this laughable state, but the truth. They can maintain their reparations in perpetuity if they are incapable of producing a viable industry for themselves. Spiritual bravery snd intellectual honesty, though, is priceless and manageable even for them.
Maybe National Socialism’s suspicious stance on these people was justified.
I’m open to be proven wrong by any Polish nationalist and Aryan defender of the race. Step up to the plate, Polska!

It is the famous “Obersalzberg Speech.”
From Wikipedia:
The “Armenian quote” is where Richard Lukas’ quote is found:
Hitler did not say this. It’s not his style, nor would he shock his high-ranking officers with such crude language. It’s a complete fiction from Louis Lochner, but even knowing that does not stop the U.S. Army and the U.S. foreign policy makers from trying to use it. And Richard Lukas too.

Because of Poland, Germany has no peace treaty and WW2 between Germany and the United Nations is still going on.
http://www.selbstverwaltung-deutschland.de/Kein-Friedensvertrag-beabsichtigt.jpg
This document proves that Poland complained at the 4+2 conference in 1990 that a peace treaty would threaten “their” Western border.
Gorbatchev wanted peace with Germany and prepared officials to return their zone to Germany. The Russian zone includes North-East Prussia but slso all areas of Germany ADMINISTERED by Poland.

Yes, Markus, it was difficult to hear Peter speak with such approval about the German-Polish excellent friendship now! Poland complains about every little thing they don’t like, and Germany does everything to make them happy.

On page 4 of Forgotten Holocaust by Lukas, he writes:
But the correct translation is “underman” as opposed to “overman.” It just means a superior race or people against a less capable race of people. Or you could say the achievers and the underachievers. But it is not “subhuman” – this is another lie that’s been pushed and pushed.
Markus

Even if it was subhuman, Slav also means slave or rob in Slavic language as in robot.
One could argue the non-slavic Whites are masters and the Slavics depend of the masters as in employer and emploee, a symbiotic relationship, based on mutual respect and brotherly love.
The mistake many West-Europeans did, was “enslaving” non-Whites for profiteering, instead of “enslaving” the Slavs to mutually benefit from this relation.
It might sound awkward, but studying race allows no fearful emotions.

I’ve seen Slav written as Slave, but I didn’t know it literally meant that. I think it’s been Germans who’ve used that spelling. Do the Slavs themselves consider that their name means “slave?”
Markus

The Slavic words for “slave” (Russian rab, Serbo-Croatian rob, Old Church Slavonic rabu) are from Old Slavic *orbu, from the PIE root *orbh- (also source of orphan), the ground sense of which seems to be “thing that changes allegiance” (in the case of the slave, from himself to his master). The Slavic word is also the source of robot.
http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=slave
Now Carolyn, who wants to interrupt the Aryan master-slave relationship and substitute himself as the master while substituting the Slav with non-Whites? Why did Communism work in White Slavic countries but not in non-Slavic White countries? Non-Slavic White altruism is for Slavs, they are the orphans we have to care for, not the fake-slave Blacks.
Der Slave is the Slav in German. Sklave is slave in German. Both from Sclavus in Latin.
Slave: Meaning “one who has lost the power of resistance to some habit or vice” is from 1550s. Applied to devices from 1904, especially those which are controlled by others (cf. slave jib in sailing, similarly of locomotives, flash bulbs, amplifiers). Slave-driver is attested from 1807; extended sense of “cruel or exacting task-master” is by 1854. Slate state in U.S. history is from 1812. Slave-trade is attested from 1734.
Like an engineer wouldn’t abuse his locomotive but care for it to make it work well, so does the master and slave relation ought to be mutually beneficial and not exploitative.
The Jews stole our identity and language again to abuse the meaning and to divide us.

Can somebody please give links to the memorandums A, B, C and most important D, as well as the American Embassy report dated 17 November 1937?
Thanks in advance.

If you translate German Slave or Sklave (Slav and slave) into Russian, both are rab, the same.

One more thing.
Untermensch vs Übermensch
Subhuman/Underman vs Abovehuman/Overman.
Übermensch is philosphical, Nietzsche. Anything below the Übermensch is subordinated, unter.
Does that mean Hitler killed millions of Poles as they want us to believe or that they can’t stand the fact that Germans are intellectually superior? (By and large).

You would probably get an argument on this from Slavic people. You are kind of playing word games that are not so clear-cut.
Markus
November 20, 2013 at 2:12 pm
The argument is full in the open I think. I didn’t invent these terms like Slav/slave, rob/robot/orphan.
Are we Whites all equal? What White ethnicity is known as the poets and thinkers, the inventors and order loving, structure giving employment creators? All of them?
Voice of Albion mentioned that most technological inventions in modern times come from Germany, Britain and the US. Anglos and Saxons mainly. German ethnicity.
Why is Russia not doing better? They possess half of Europe and half of Asia and are less productive than whatever is left of Germany.
Do you think Russia would be in that condition if it was run by Germans?

Good points, Markus. I don’t disagree with you. I’m being careful not to step on too many toes. The Russian Czar’s government was administered by Germans who were brought in to do that job. The Austro-Hungarian Empire was also administered by its German population. But it’s just too bad that today’s “Germany” is working in collaboration with the European Union and the United States … while Russia is able to look like the “better White nation.” Britain is sold out too. This is the problem we have in celebrating the Germanic race in present time.
As Piotr Z. said, with an appreciative chuckle: “Angela Merkel is pursuing the same European policy as did Hitler – a united Europe. But he tried to do it with tanks; she is using banks.” Not that I even agree with the analogy; it’s really just a cheap joke. One can’t compare Merkel with Hitler, but he did.

Another great question regarding the Polish-German conflict of 1939 is: where exactly was Karol Jozef Wojtyla (later Pope John Paul) in August & September of 1939, and what exactly was he doing? I’ve read that he was in a Polish Army regiment, (a picture of him, armed and in uniform exists) in the “corridor”, near Bromberg, of all places. He supposedly hid out in Catholic churchs during the war, and later entered the priesthood. What exacty what was he hiding from, and furthermore, what did he know, or, ahem, do, during the frightful anti-German pogroms and massacres in that region? Inquiring minds would sure as hell like to know.

Carolyn, I found this myself:
google “Poland and the Coming of the Second World War: The Diplomatic Papers of A.J. Drexel Biddle” [pdf] or click
http://tinyurl.com/oezhtxu
To my disappointment there are indeed ‘Memorandum A/B/C’ included, from page 270 onwards, but not the most interesting Memorandum D. Maybe left out on purpose? There is however a reference to a ‘Third Europe’, but that is described as the Polish wish to be part of a a group of neutral nations between Baltic and Black Sea, not a Polish wish for hegemony between Baltics and Black Sea.
Always listen to your show, keep up the good work!
Your work, like this particular show, will find it’s way in my not so pc WW1/WW2 blog.
I have a feeling we are going to win.
