GERMANY'S JUSTICE MINISTER UNDER CHANCELLOR ANGELA MERKEL, HEIKO MAAS, a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) has called for a Hitler-era law banning doctors from advertising abortion services to be changed.
Maas called paragraph 219a of the German criminal code a "relic of the Nazi era when the state controlled citizens' bodies.” The paragraph states that anyone who publicly "offers, announces [or] advertises" abortion services is to be punished with up to two years in jail or must pay a fine. Under the law, German medical practitioners can only offer abortion information in private consultations.
Maas is not alone. Members of the SPD, the Free Democratic Party (FPD), the Green Party and Left party all criticized the verdict in a case involving Kristina Hánel (shown below), a general practitioner in the central German city of Giessen, who included the word “abortion” among the services offered at her clinic. Hánel was fined in November for breaking the law—prompting a cry from the left to rescind the law.
“Anything that gets in our way, we will tear down,” is the attitude of the left.
The so-called conservative parties, Merkel's CDU and the Bavavian CSU, are against amending the law because doing so would “normalize getting an abortion.” The Catholic bishops association in Germany is also against it. And of course, so would be the Alternative Fuer Deutschland party (AFD), which is not mentioned in the news story from Deutsche Welle. If it were only they who wanted to keep the law as it is, they would be accused of being "Nazis." But of course, Merkel's party can't be accused of that.

In a recent piece for the far-left weekly magazine Der Spiegel, Justice Minister Heiko Maas (SPD) wrote that the Holocaust, in which the 'Nazis' killed six million Jews [LIE], and its significance needed to become an even more important part of integration courses and migrants should be tested on it in the examination at the end of their course.
"The lessons from the Holocaust need to be one of the guiding ideas in those lessons and not just some chapter of German history," he said.
"Racism has no place in Germany, so everyone who wants to stay in Germany for the long term needs to be clear that we fight the Neonazis' anti-Semitism and we won't tolerate any imported anti-Semitism from immigrants either," Maas added.

Speaking at an event marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Israel, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (SPD) said on Friday Germany needed to remember its historical responsibility, including the lessons of two world wars, the Holocaust, ensuring Israel's security and rejecting any form of racism and anti-Semitism.
"There's no end to this responsibility for people born afterwards and no exceptions for immigrants," he said, adding that those who burned Israeli flags did not understand or respect what it meant to be German. [How could they? They aren't.]
There is is - the FRD position is "no end" to serving the Jews. So our answer - Merkel Must Go and the AFD Must Grow. Hey, I'd like to support the NPD but they are just about banned and are in any case infiltrated by the German secret security service.
