Poland – the Great Pretender. The truth about its origins and history tear away the pious mask of the victim and show a cruel-minded victimizer at work – still today. Carolyn Yeager explains why the treatment meted out to the Poles by National-Socialist Germany was justified. 2hr28min.
- Was the "1000 years" of Polish history invented in more recent times;
- The late appearance of Polish literature and written language, in the 18th and 19th centuries;
- One million of the original 2.5 million Germans left the provence of Poland before 1939 because of persecution;
- The most extreme brutality was directed against the Ukrainians because they were the largest minority group and voted to send their own representatives to the Sejm;
- Poles had never succeeded in forming a successful state on their own, for example in 1916 Germany gave them independence and made a pact with Pilsudski;
- Poles insisted most of all that all minorities speak Polish, send their children to Polish-only schools and become totally Polonized;
- Many examples given of horrible treatment of Ukrainians, Germans and White Russians mainly to discourage them from maintaining their own communities and language;
- Markus calls in and gives valuable input, plus helps me sum up at the end.

Danzig - Danish/Dan
http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Gdansk
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Germanic_languages
Look up History, Geography and Etymology of the first link. It gives some clues. And go to Groups and click on Vandals and Visigoths on the other.
Danzig was not a part of the Danish state, but very possibly Danish or Germanic/Gothic before the modern time of statehood. The coastal area of Danzig was known as Coast of the Goths. The river is called Vistula. Visigoths means West-Goths (Goths = Good People) that migrated to Spain. Vistula probably means West-Thule. Thule, the old name for Germania/Scandinavia. The East-Germanic tribes populated all lands in Europe, migrating from Northern Germania to Spain and Crimea. Danube River has Dan in it too. I think, this ancient history before the Germanic people were Christianized and the East-Germanic languages were still spoken throughout Europe is very informative to make a case in who was there first.
Etymology:
Etymology:
The city's name is thought to originate from the Gdania river, the original name of the Motława branch on which the city is situated. The diacritic over the "n" is frequently omitted by non-Poles. In the local Kashubian language it is known as Gduńsk. This is the usual nuttiness, making it seem like it was originally "Polish" when there was no such thing as a Pole there.
Like many other Central European cities, Gdańsk has had many different names throughout its history. The Germanized version of this name, Danzig, has been used by the German population, as well as in English until the end of World War II. Other former English versions of its name include Dantzig, Dantsic, and Dantzic. The city's Latin name may be given as either Gedania, Gedanum or Dantiscum; the variety of Latin names reflects the mixed influence of the city's Polish, German and Kashubian heritage. There is no Polish heritage. They make out that "Danzig" is a germanized version of Gdansk when the Germans were there first. It's like calling Auschwitz the germanized version of Oswiecim, when it's actually the other way around. The original name was Auschwitz, created/built by Germans.
Auschwitz was in the Germanic ruled Holy Roman Empire until 1457, when it bacame part of the Kingdom of Poland. Poland lost its independence in 1772 and Auschwitz came under the Austrians. So for 300 yrs. out of 1000 it went by a Polish name.
It's amazing how fast the "authorities" changed all the encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc. to reflect the new reality and "new history" following WWII. How quickily the place names given now in Polish, Czech, Russian, etc. had been always there (we are now to believe).
"There is no Polish heritage.
"There is no Polish heritage. They make out that "Danzig" is a germanized version of Gdansk when the Germans were there first."
This is actually incorrect. The Prussians (Teutons) took over Gdansk in 1308. Note 29 of the wikipedia article cites the Latin and German text of the papal bull (Philip's) Clement issued [1]. Before that it was Polish. I'm not talking of ancient people of course... who may or may not have lived there in the very early Middle Ages (tribes moved around anyway), but rather recorded history of Gdansk as an actual well-established city and not just dwelling place for some shoddy tribe. And I'm not aware of a record of Poles conquering it and taking it from Prussians before that. Unless of course the pope and the whole of Europe were misinformed and the Teutons had in fact just walked into a German city...

Polish-Jewish friendship
Polish, Israel presidents to open Jewish Museum in Warsaw
Warsaw (AFP) Oct 28-2014 - Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and Israeli counterpart Reuven Rivlin will on Tuesday inaugurate a Warsaw museum chronicling the vibrant 1,000-year history of Poland's Jewish community, all but wiped out during the Holocaust. (Not true, they ended up in Russia and America)
Built on the site of the former Warsaw ghetto, the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews will be "a game changer" for Polish-Jewish relations, the country's chief rabbi Michael Schudrich told AFP.
"That does not mean the relations were bad, but it means it will make them better," he said.
Rather than showcasing myriad artefacts, the museum recounts that past with the help of multimedia installations and by recreating scenes of everyday life.
That account includes dark chapters like the World War II Holocaust, during which Nazi Germany killed millions of Jews in occupied Poland, and the anti-Semitism that was an undeniable fact of Jewish life throughout Europe, Poland included.
But the exhibition also sheds a rare light on the richness of Jewish life in Poland -- once home to the world's largest Jewish community. (Not true either. Bertram de Colonna wrote in 1939:
1,000 year history
Even if you include all the centuries, where Poles did not have a country, it only amounts to 1,000 years. During this time, Danzig was held by Poles for some periods. But the East-Germanic history is at least 2,000 years old. Slavs migrated from the East later. Numerous archaelogical artefacts found in the region are German in nature (I mentioned this before in conjunction with NPD complaints to label them correctly). Poles always speak of their ancient homeland, but much of the area was home to East-Germanics before it got conquered or the Polish culture was introduced by the Vatican as some claim. 1,000 years is not much for European standards. It merely marks the era in which Christianization was completed in Europe.
Dan means river in almost all relevant languages.
Jewish-Polish history is very much intertwined. Poland also has never expelled Jews and interestingly Jews all over Eastern Europe call themselves Ashkenazi Jews, Jews living in Ashkenazi lands. Ashkenazi is Hebrew for German, indicating that they lived in German lands.
Good point
Good point about Ashkenazi. I always disliked that Ashkenazi Jews supposedly means German Jews. But now I see a positive side to it. All that land was considered German. German = Europe, European.
King Ashkenaz
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashkenaz
Click on German Royal Geneology. King Ashkenaz is said to be the stern father of the Germanic tribes. Jews impostering now as Ashkenazi is a complete joke. They are Jews in Germanic / Ashkenazi lands.
Europe = Germany? The ancient Persians saw it that way
...However, in some Turkic languages the originally Persian name Frangistan (land of the Franks) is used casually in referring to much of Europe, besides official names such as Avrupa or Evropa....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe (look under etymology)
Yes, you're right
It's better to say it Europe=Germany, rather than Germany=Europe.
I'm a decendant of the Franks - the ones in the Eastern part who remained with their Germanic language, joining with the Swabians, Bavarians, etc. My people's dialect is described as Frankish-Swabian - that is what my grandparents spoke.
Franca
The Western Franks started speaking Latin, when their land became part of Rome, hence French (aka Vulgar Latin) but the Eastern Franks kept Germanic languages. If you click on Frangistan, you'll see that Indians still call Europeans Firang/Farang = Franks.
Lingua Franca (Latin: Frankish Language) is another term for universal European being German, either linguistic, racially or both depending on the time in history. French became a lingua franca after it got Latinized, but German remained lingua franca in East-Central and Northern Europe until 1945. English is another lingua franca, even though it is Saxon. But for outsiders such as the Persians, they put Europeans all in one category as Franks, much like the Finns call all Germans Saxons.

...and split into France, Germany and the small countries in between that speak either or language. (2 minute clip)

Hello Carolyn and everybody,
I have listened til part one on Slavs and have to say that you are touching here a long festering abscess. This is so typical of you to never avoid even the most controversial and potentially explosive subjects. You have the courage and I respect you for it.
Indeed, Slavs are very different from Germanics. Mentally or rather spiritually, it's like two different races. Our common American friend who lived in the Ukraine for a couple of years called the Ukrainians "white negroes". This is pretty radical but my feeling and experience with Germanics and Slavs (having one foot in each camp being fifty fifty German and Pole) tells me, that differences between those two sub-races are far more than just superficial.
I will not attempt to be a judge or present an extensive analysis of the subject. I will limit my remarks to a couple of observations:
Germanics (including Scandinavians) are almost solely responsible for the development of modern civilization and technology. The Slavs have always been good in defending and acquiring lands but not good at developing infrastructure and industry. Their contribution to civilization was, in my opinion, secondary to Germanic influence and assistance (there were, of course, numerous successful Slavic inventors, developers etc. - not least Nicola Tesla!, so the difference is only relative).
Difference in mentality is huge with Germanic being largely individualists who are able to cooperate towards common goals, while Slavs are prone to creating factions warring internally with one another which depletes their energy and effectiveness vs. outside world. Slavs, however, are known to be able to unite and act unisono facing mortal dangers.
The sole, greatest difference is, in my opinion, Germanics ability and love of work and creating palpable results. Germanic act not due external threat or coercion but due to their internal drive to create. Slavs, on the other hand, are relatively passive. One can popularly say, that relative to Germanics, they are a lazy bunch. They act due to external pressure and due to their well developed sense of jealousy. This drive to create in Germanic tribes and not difference in IQ (which is minimal or non-existent between Slavs and Germanics) is the sole factor in the difference in civilizing achievement between the groups.
Another, very important, difference is the tendency, or even imperative, of Germanics to forcefully adhere to, and act due to, abstract principles (like moral ones). Slavs are far more flexible and tend to prefer their private interest, or that of their family, clan or tribe, over principles. This is one important cause of that, which Germanics call corruption. Slavs share this attitude with most other peoples, not least the Italians (Latins). Their patriotism may be considered a high principle but in my opinion it is an extension of egoism upon the whole tribe, and not an abstract principle.
Thank you, Carolyn, for these splendid programs! Keep going (you are, after all a Germanic, so I need not prompt you anyway). I think I will try to correct some notions which you included in this synopsis, and which I think, are erroneous. I will do it after listening to the whole series.
How it looks to me
The Slavs have always been good in defending and acquiring lands but not good at developing infrastructure and industry.
The Slavs have always been given land that they did not acquire on their own at all. Or they are on land nobody else wanted enough to take away from them. Remember the Americans purchased Alaska from the Russians for a song. The Soviets were able to take over all the other Slavic (and non-Slavic) neighboring countries in 1945. They didn't even put up a fight aince they joined the Russians against the Germans.
Their contribution to civilization was, in my opinion, secondary to Germanic influence and assistance ...
Their contribution to civilization was nil. Only by living in German-built and created societies, did something rub off on a few of them, but they were mostly genetic Germanics anyway.
This drive to create in Germanic tribes and not difference in IQ (which is minimal or non-existent between Slavs and Germanics) is the sole factor in the difference in civilizing achievement between the groups.
There is an average 5 to 10 point difference between Germanics and Slavs in IQ. See here. While what you say about creativity is true, IQ does play a part. Lower intelligence could play a role in not relating very strongly to abstract moral principles, as you point out, making corruption natural.
Hello Hasso
Markus will be happy that you have joined our discussion since he said he hoped for some back and forth commenting.
I don't remember who is "our common American friend" who called Ukranians "White negroes," but I sure wouldn't go that far. The Ukranians want to get into the EU because they know they need a lot of help, but at least they're hoping for something better. Myself, I would rather the EU disintegrates. Go UKIP!
Also, to you and everyone: In order to get a space between paragraphs, you have to add two spaces. Don't know why, it doesn't work that way when I create posts -- only in the comments. I have been adding the extra space myself, but I'd like the regular commenters to remember to do that.
Hello again Carolyn,
Hello again Carolyn,
This Slav-Germanic difference occupied my [mind] since time immemorial. It is very real which you know and, above all, feel. My vantage point is unique since I am 50-50 Slav and German, and lived exactly a half of my life in a Slavic and another half - in a Germanic country.
Our common American friend would not like to be quoted on this in public and he expressed this sentiment while in depressed mood. I shall give you his name in an email.
As I said, I will make a larger comment after listening to the whole thing. For now, I have one more remark to make:
The imperative of the Germanics to act according to abstract principles and rules is a blessing and a curse. A blessing - because it makes civilized and orderly life possible. Curse - because their Enemies use this trait to create rules and ideas which Germanics feel obliged to follow and which are killing them. This inflexibility is a huge weakness vis a vis a cunning and ruthless Enemy Within. Like the obligation to help those in need and the principle of justice. This is why the Germanics have so hard time waking up to their own genocide by immigration.
The Slavs have much less reverence for these notions which is why they make splendid patriots and antisemites. The idea of multi-kulti has not a slightest chance in a Slavic society and the Enemy knows it. On the other hand - the Enemy is not so afraid of the Slavs as he is of Germanics. For both reasons, the immigration to the Slavic lands is not being pressed despite the pretty good living standards in places like Czechia and Poland.
Rather, misfits from the underclass of Slavic lands are being used in the West as cannon fodder of multikulturalism via the open borders of EU.
And yes, I hate the EU too. But this construct is of too high value to the Enemy to let it fall apart, methinks.
One point
The Slavs have much less reverence for these notions which is why they make splendid patriots and antisemites.
Slavs are not splendid antisemites, ever. Even those allied with Hitler were not willing to deport their Jews or put them into concentration camps ... except the Croats. So many Jews have left those lands now because they had the opportunity to go to the U.S. and Israel. No one wants to live in the Slavic countries for the most part except the natives, there is no opportunity, and that is why they appear to be patriots and nationalists. Why don't you live in Poland and help improve the situation there?
Yes, the Slavs attempt to send all their undesirables into the West, plus they also go there themselves.
Part IX
Jesse and Carolyn both make good points again. I'm looking forward to the Slavic Question part IX. Maybe Jesse calls in!
Check this out. Swedes (possibly Goths or other extinct East-Germanics) founded Russia. Danzig also has a Gate of the Goths, a very important tourist attraction besides the Hanseatic port.
http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=russia
Hasso, not Jesse
Hasso doesn't write anything like Jesse and Hasso lives in Europe so I don't think he will call in. We have plenty to talk about already without a Part IX (what?!). Part 4.
Rus and Russians
The link you gave is very interesting, Markus. According to it (and other sources), Swedes were the origninal "Rus" who settled Kiev. The Finnish name for the Swedes also fits as a root word for Russian. "Rossiya" came much later, from the Byzantine Empire.
Again, something that can be called a civilization was begun by the Germanics, with the peoples of the Eastern lands being organized into it. But when the Germanic rulers left OR were killed off, the (Slavic?) people could not carry it on at the same level. In Russia, the most accomplished of the Slav nations and as has been detailed previously, all the emperors, czars, etc. were genetically German, Swedish, Danish, Italian blood, and the bureaucracy was made up of imported Germans.
Any disagreement with that?
Derivation from the IE root for "red," in reference to hair color, is considered less likely. Russian city-states were founded and ruled by Vikings and their descendants. The Russian form of the name, Rossiya, appears to be from Byzantine Greek Rhosia. Russification is from 1842.
Hi Carolyn
See how the russians had to stole and copy from Germans for their propaganda posters.
https://einsamerkrieger.wordpress.com/2012/07/05/drunken-propaganda/
It's quite ironic ; - )
I would have even more fun
I would have even more fun with this had I more time to spare. Obviously, Mrs. Yeager, you don't really know that many Poles... or Germans for that matter? Saying that Poles are not Jew wise is a shot in the dark. Wow, I hope not too many Poles are listening to your shows hehe.
You academic approach to discussions is educational to me.. and challenging at times. But I think spending more time with people face to face would balance your opinions.
Well, that's what I mostly do nowadays... and I gotta tell you, Germans (still love them) are completely avoiding discissions about the chosen ones hehe.. And it doesn't matter if its here or in Europe.
Someone told me to check on Avar people.. supposedly they were giving Slavs a lot of trouble back before accepting Christianity by Miesko 1 (myeschko) and softenig Slavs.
And I think repeating "the Poles " all the time when giving opinons or stating fact doesn't vibrate. "The ruling class", "usurpers" or something like that would be more accurate... Just giving you something to consider...
And answering your question.. I was born in Szczecin (Stettin), grew up there and left Poland when I was 24.
Poles
What I said was "Poles are not spendid antisemites", as Hasso said they were. Or are you referring to something else? As Markus said, Poles have never expelled Jews from their country. It was the Russian czars that created The Pale of Settlement for the Jews. Poles are jew-wise but how much of a resistance do they put up? Oh yes, always blaming it on the Polish elites. The Poles are afflicted with an inability to sort things out clearly. The common Poles were mostly influenced by their Priests, who kept them illiterate and passive, only hating non-Poles, especially Germans.
Naturally, Nationalist Poles like yourself see it differently but how about ordinary Poles. They weren't subjected to the abuse and gullt-tripping from 1945 on like the Germans were. In fact, they were joining the Jews in doing that to the Germans. And still are. Poles have nothing to be proud of. You tell me one thing they can be proud of. I want to know.
Do you really think there was a Mieszko? I don't. I'm serious when I say the history is invented. I will talk about it more on Monday.
Thanks very much for your personal information. It's so much better to know these facts about people you're talking to. On what grounds were you allowed to emigrate to the U.S.? I think Poles and other Iron Curtain countries had preferential treatment in that respect, yes?
P.S. I'm not Mrs. Yeager, but Ms. Yeager, or you can address me as Carolyn. I appreciate your politeness.
poland
Thank you so much, Carolyn, for setting the historical record straight concerning poland - I really appreciate that! The poles are just another victim group who benefit GREATLY from the holohoax lies, and fake German atrocity propaganda! These lies emsure that poland will continue to steal billions more from the German tax payers, which by itself is genocidal, and is a violation of German civil rights! I hope that this huge extortion racket by the poles ends soon!
