While I think, one hour for the International Jew sufficed, I'd suggest making a two hour study for HTT. Both you and Ray have so much to say, I sense, besides reading the book.
This was a great episode and I'd love to hear your takes on what was said in the book more thoroughly.

Das Deutsche Reich has been the official name of the country since 1871. It has never changed. Not in 1919, when the Reich was restuctured to become a republic, nor in 1945 or 1949 or 1990, when varies occupation zones were formed or restructered. The Reich remains occupied in her 1937 borders according to SHAEF laws. Germany exists in her 08.31.1939 borders though. This might only officially change through a peace treaty, where a Reich government acknowledges border revisions.
The famous 1973 BRD Supreme Court decision "The German Reich still exists...the Federal Republic of Germany is not the legal successor of the Reich" confirmed the current situation.

I know you are a girl Carolyn but pulling a random picture of a German tank from the Internet and labelling it German panzer division heads towards Moscow 1941 is not on.
The photograph you used for this show was taken at the end of 1943 during fighting in the Zihtomir sector. The tank is a Panzer 6 (Tiger) of SS Panzer Grenadier Division Das Reich.

I didn't pull a random picture of a tank. It was labeled that way. You know how it is in looking for images on the Internet -- mislabeling abounds, and after all, I wouldn't recognize the difference unless I spent a lot of time comparing, time which I don't have.
It's a great picture, though, isn't it? Everytime I see it, I'm impressed! I'll bet very few readers know any better, but I'm glad you told us. One thing I always want to be is accurate. So keep on keeping me honest.

I had a feeling something like that had happened because I know you are always a stickler for accuracy, Carolyn. I really don't expect everyone, especially girls, to be able to recognise WWII tanks.
The Tiger certainly was an impressive beast and I understand why you chose that particular photograph. If you look carefully you will notice the front plate of this tank had previously taken several hits from an anti-tank rifle.

Truth is, I chose the photo because it said "German panzers on the way to Moscow, 1941". I didn't notice just what a great photo it was until after it was posted and I could see a sort of 3-D quality in it. It's really coming at you!
