Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill face to face for the first time in 1941. Hitler despised them both.

Carolyn Yeager and Ray Goodwin read and comment on the Jan. 5th-7th, 1942 dinner table monologues by the German Leader, as taken down in shorthand by trusted aide, attorney Heinrich Heim. Some highlights of this episode:

  • Japan and the Jews, the stupid Americans, the Spanish soldier;
  • Stalin identifies with the Tsars and Pan-Slavism more than Boshevism - Slavs and Asians can copy but not invent;
  • Corruption in Freemasonry, fictitious wealth of gold, guilt of Jews;
  • Changes at Rome, Hitler removes Brauchitsch as Army chief;
  • Churchill's faults, the decline of England, the decay of America.

The edition of Hitler's Table Talk being used was translated by Norman Cameron and R.H. Stevens, published by Enigma Books, New York, and can be found as a pdf here.

It's really amazing that book ever saw the light of day.

They usually were taking B-25 heavy bomber planes and P-53 “King Cobras” lighter fighters.
To clarify - in WW2 the B-25 was seen very much as a medium bomber not a heavy. And the 'P-53' was actually the P-63 fighter.
Post-war, officially, the USSR was very dismissive of the value of western equipment and in the west after WW2 this theme was reinforced - that it was mere token support - and we were constantly reminded that it was the USSR that 'really' won the war. Also once the Cold War got going it was convenient to downplay the amount of aid the USSR had received. But in fact thousands of US & British aircraft were supplied to the USSR in a serious attempt to strengthen the Soviet forces.

B-25, A-20, P-39, P-40, P-63, Hurricane and Spitfire - thousands of planes in total. The USSR also had the DC-3 (built quite legally under license granted well before the war) in the USSR. So I can't really include that as military aid.

That is some great info. Too bad there are no exact dates on the pictures. But thanks a lot for sending it. Some of the comments are interesting too.

Very informative show.  Hitler was right to feel America had been compromised and Judaized.  In the recent book "Stalin's Secret Agents: The Subversion of Roosevelt's Government" by M Stanton Evans & Herbert Romerstein, the infiltration of communists into the highest branches of the United States government is well documented.  Franklin Roosevelt was a very ill man at the time and it is unclear how much control he had over his mental faculties.  Along with making horrendous remarks about the Germans Roosevelt also let let several anti-Semitic remarks slip out.
