William Finck discusses his article Philthadelphia, which he wrote after two visits to the city that is the cradle of the founding of the United States of America. Philadelphia is now 45% black, with a large Chinese population, and the clearly Christian intentions held by William Penn have been forgotten. At Independence Hall (shown right) tour guides describe the Pennsylvania colony as being founded for the “religious freedom of Jews, Christians and Muslims.” Callers added to the discussion in the 2nd hour.
