Alex Linder, creator of Vanguard News Network and VNN Forum,  returns to share his views on the knotty problem of organizing White people for White interests, based in part on several “manifestos” that have appeared recently by White activists who are impatient to “get something going” and have used this vehicle to make a start. Other topics discussed are:

• The extent of U.S. entitlement programs (14 million Americans now getting disability payments alone),  much of it for needy, non-white families with dependent children;
• About half the U.S. population is living on the dole;
• Israel to be officially defined as National State of Jewish People at the same time that 19 Jewish groups urge amnesty for illegal aliens in U.S.;
• Greek Golden Dawn Party urges boycott of Estee Lauder products after AJC leader Ronald Lauder calls for Greece to ban the party;
• Can there be too many White advocacy organizations, manifestos and platforms or is the more the better;
• If the electoral process is corrupt,  change has to come from street demonstrations and local organizing;
• Linder wants racially-based but otherwise free society ;
• Can White people naturally live in peace and harmony without law enforcement.

This is news because it is the FIRST TIME a Protestant church in Hamburg, Germany's second largest city, will be converted into a mosque, according to my correspondent who calls it "a breach of taboo and a break in a dam."

Kapernaumkirch (Capernaum Church), pictured at right, a cultural heritage site, is located in the Horn district in downtown Hamburg. It was abandoned in 2002 for financial reasons due to declining membership. From this article:

The building and an adjacent 44 meter (144 foot) tower/steeple as well as the surrounding land was sold in 2005 to an investor, the Al-Nour Islamic Center, which has approximately 600 members, mainly made up of Arab Muslim immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa.

The church is currently undergoing renovations at a cost of one million euros ($1.4 million) and is scheduled to be reopened as a mosque on October 3, the Day of German Unity [Tag der Deutschen Einheit], a public holiday commemorating the anniversary of German reunification in 1990. Muslims in Germany have also claimed October 3 as Open Mosque Day [Tag der offenen Moschee], a day when non-Muslims are allowed to visit mosques.

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Is it art meant to highlight a decaying industrial complex in a dying city or a chilling threat?

The phrase “Arbeit Macht Frei,” which famously greeted Nazi prisoners at the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II, has a new home.

It sits prominently on a bridge overlooking the Packard Plant in Detroit. The words are in the same script as the labor camp, but in this case they lord over the hulking plant that once created luxury cars and now serves as a decrepit 40-acre squatting grounds for the homeless, and a favorite spot for scrappers, graffiti artists and ruin porn photography.

The factory that built luxury Packard cars at the start of the 20th Century, closed in 1958. The city of Detroit has pledged to take the plant down, but that hasn’t happened yet.

The German words now prominently displayed on it translate into English as “work will make you free,” and they guarded the gates at the (Auschwitz) camp.

“Each letter is fashioned on a durable piece of plastic that is strongly secured to the overpass with about 80 sturdy ties,” according to DeadlineDetroit.com.

Steve Goldman of the Holocaust Memorial Center (naturally they ask him ) finds it offensive and thinks it should be removed, even if it is an artistic statement on labor issues, as some believe.

“In a month, when we’re celebrating the freedom of African-Americans — of all Americans from the scourge of slavery — this hearkening back to slave labor in Nazi Germany … it’s just so offensive I almost don’t have words,” Goldman said. Oy vey.

Threatening, you say? What is it threatening? The words mean "Work Makes You Free." To Germans, work was a necessity for a feeling of accomplishment, it was not thought to be a bad punishment. The meaning of the words on the gate at Auschwitz was that, by working, the people brought there would gain a greater sense of collective purpose, and could then be returned to society as more productive and constructive citizens.

Nothing threatening at all.

The Golden Dawn party in Greece is presently the primary interest for Alex Linder of VNN Forum. Our conversation started and ended with it, but in between he also talked about Anders Breivik, the gun control legislation Obama is trying to pass, and infighting in the “movement” – how it should and shouldn’t be done. Some of the points made:

• Why a nationalist party could gain success in Greece, but not elsewhere in Europe or the U.S.;
• Only young men will carry out a revolutionary movement;
• Must say clearly that “we are White and want what is good for Whites;
