Erika Steinbach on the 70th birthday of the Basic Law
"Birthday child in emergency" - Remarks to the seventieth birthday of the Basic Law
By Erika Steinbach | Chairwoman of the Desiderius Erasmus Foundation e.V. /Translated via automatic translators by Carolyn Yeager
THE LEGAL FOUNDATION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, our Basic Law, has its seventieth birthday.
It is a birthday for a birthday girl for whom it was actually only supposed to have been a temporary solution. The constitutional fathers and mothers initially only wanted to create a temporary legal basis, a legal framework for the reconstruction of a badly shaken German society after a terrible dictatorship and a devastating war with all its upheavals. And not only a legal basis, but also a moral guideline.
Interior Minister Horst Seehofer (right) listens as his intel chief Hans-Georg Maassen speaks. Maassen turned in a report on Friday explaining his position on a controversial video used by Chancellor Merkel and the left parties to denounce "nazi violence" in the city of Chemnitz during the past two weeks.
UPDATE 9-12: Maassen survives grilling in Parliament; given vote of confidence by Interior Minister Seehofer. Maassen came under fire for not being tough enough against the so-called far-right during the anti-migration protests in the eastern German city of Chemnitz. At the hearing, the head of the domestic intellegence agency is reported to have aimed his criticism at the media, stating that terms like "hounding" should not be used lightly in writing because they can redefine reality. Seehofer praised Maassen for his work and stated that he had argued convincingly and with nuance. Naturally, the left and far-left were not satisfied, saying they had lost confidence in him.

GERMANY'S JUSTICE MINISTER UNDER CHANCELLOR ANGELA MERKEL, HEIKO MAAS, a member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) has called for a Hitler-era law banning doctors from advertising abortion services to be changed.
Maas called paragraph 219a of the German criminal code a "relic of the Nazi era when the state controlled citizens' bodies.” The paragraph states that anyone who publicly "offers, announces [or] advertises" abortion services is to be punished with up to two years in jail or must pay a fine. Under the law, German medical practitioners can only offer abortion information in private consultations.

THE GERMAN FEDERAL PUPPET STATE has the dubious honor of wanting to put a 96-year-old German citizen in a prison cell for 4 years … meaning he will be 100 years old when he gets out. Why should anyone, anywhere put a 96-year-old in prison? To protect what?
Ah, to protect the standing of the Jews in Germany! Jews are highly organized for their interests, and in today's Germany they carry a lot of weight. They want to keep finding 'Nazis' to prosecute, forever if they can. When the last Germans who set foot in Auschwitz are gone, they will go after their children and grandchildren.
Ursula Haverbeck sits in a Berlin court today with her attorney to answer new charges filed against her for a "holocaust-denying" statement she made on January 30th last year. She was sentenced to a six-month prison term.

TODAY, OCTOBER 16, 2017, 88-YEAR OLD URSULA HAVERBECK was once again dragged into court, convicted and sentenced to 6-months in prison for the ridiculous "crime" of saying there were no homicidal gas chambers at Auschwitz. This makes her a "holocaust denier." (See my latest article here) This particular crime took place during an event in Berlin on January 30, 2016.
Haverbeck has in the past called the Holocaust "the biggest and most sustained lie in history."
She has also filed charges against Germany's Central Council of Jews for "prosecuting innocent people."
Germany's holohoaxers have been cheated out of the grisley satisfaction of jailing the extreme elderly.

NINETY-FIVE YEAR OLD REINHOLD HANNING DIED ON TUESDAY , as reported on Thursday by his lawyer Andreas Scharmer. No cause of death was given apart from old age.
Lawyer for the Jewish plaintiffs testifying against Hanning, Jew Thomas Walther (right), expressed disappointment that the elderly Hannning escaped prison. Walther complained, “"If the judiciary had not been silent for decades, then there would not have been this disappointment.”
95-year-old Hubert Zafke sits in a Newbrandenburg court with his lawyer Peter-Michael Diestel standing beside him.

A JUDGE IN NEUBRANDENBURG IN GERMANY'S NORTHEAST IS ACCUSED of perverting the course of justice in one of the last Auschwitz trials brought by “holocaust survivors.” The charge has been brought by Jewish lawyer Thomas Walther, representing Walter Plywaski, 87, against Judge Klaus Kabisch. The lawyer for the accused former SS medic, 95 year-old Hubert Zafke, has defended the court's right to interpret the law as it sees fit, dismissing Walther's "media-friendly" criminal charges against Kabisch as a "provincial farce."
Gerhard Ittner presents a document to the court during his trial in Nuremberg-Fuerth, Germany.
Just to let you know that Gerhard Ittner, 57, an exceptionally good and brave man, a real straight-arrow, has been sentenced in a Nuremberg court to 1 and 1/2 years in prison. He has been held in detention for quite awhile leading up to and during this trial, and has already spent a total of three and a half years in prison. Now he will spend another 18 months. For what?
On Tuesday, Nov. 17 he was found guilty of "incitement [of the masses] and disparaging the state and it's symbols." Hmmm. The German legal system can't tolerate such things. It would collapse if it did.
It is reported that 79-year-old dissident Horst Mahler was released from prison on Sept. 3rd after serving 2/3 (10 years) of his sentence, but will remain on probation for four more years. The probation terms are no doubt why we hear nothing from him, and nothing is or will be written about him in the media. He has been effectively silenced.
He is also critically ill. His left leg was amputated in prison because of neglect of his health by prison officials. His home needs some refurbishing to accommodate his now disabled status. It is up to the truth-for-Germany community to contribute to the financial needs of our courageous comrade. Here is how you can help:
Schröder with President of Russia Vladimir Putin in Moscow on 9 May 2005, sealing their new oil/gas partnership.
Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder today called for an end to Germany's sanctions against Russia. Of the various reasons he might have, one must be that he is a top stockholder representative of Nord Stream AG, the Russian-German natural gas pipeline company that's 51% owned by Russia's state-monopoly Gazprom.
“Germany doesn’t need a new Russia policy based on confrontation, as is being demanded by some hawks,” Schroeder said Wednesday. He said he was proud to understand Russia’s position and urged a return to “detente,” the policy of easing tension in Europe during the Cold War. [During the "cold war" the Soviet Union had tyrannical control over all Eastern European countries--is that what he wants to return to? See here.]
Adolf Hitler was a true leader with "Leadership Presence."
Carolyn Yeager delves into the topic of leadership. What makes a leader and why don't we have one? Probably because a truly commanding leader is a rara avis who must have a number of outstanding qualities. Is Matt Hale the real thing? A close look at his legal briefs and lawsuits tells us quite a bit about him. 1hr59min. Highlights include:
U-Boat Commander Otto Weddigen and his "triple triumph" on Sept. 22, 1914;
The six necessary traits of a Leader, plus the intangible "Leadership Presence;"
Mathew Hale's life story and recent press releases reveal he has these traits to a marked degree;
Hale has protested his innocence from the beginning and the records bear it out;
Hale's legal rights as a prisoner have been largely denied him for 11 years of solitary confinement;
It's time for a widespread protest campaign in support of the Free Matt Hale movement because he is a leader we need.
Well-known photo of the arrest of the Flensburg Goverment on May 23, 1945. Walking in front is Reichspraesident Karl Doenitz, followed by Col General Alfred Jodl (left) and Economics Minister Albert Speer (right).
On a stormy night, Carolyn starts out with some discussion about her latest experiences with Metapedia and, separately, Alexa website rankings, then settles down to a detailed overview of what took place in the German Reich during the month of May 1945. Included:
Differences over how the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Reichs are designated;
May 1st, new Reichspraesident Karl Doenitz gives his first nationwide radio address, vowing to continue the war "to save Germany from the advancing Bolshevik enemy";
Donitz' government moved to Flensburg in far Northern Germany because it was still under German control;
May 7th, Eisenhower threatened to close the front for retreating soldiers and civilians if a general unconditional surrender was not signed immediately;
May 12th, last battle of the war (Battle of Slivice) by FM Schoerner's troops trying to cross over the American line to surrender;
May 23rd, the entire Flensburg Gov't is arrested (about 300 officers and civilians in all) and designated as prisoners of war;
June 5th, the four Allied powers declare their supreme authority over Germany at state, municipal and local levels;
Nashi (Ours!) is Putin's anti-fascist youth movement formed in 2005 to demonstrate against what he saw as the growing power of "Nazism" in Russia;
It is funded by the Russian state budget to the tune of 200 million rubles a year and contributions from pro-government business owners;
The new political party "Smart Russia" is associated with Nashi, whose interest is to foster a more modern, competitive Russia.
Putin, during a meeting with leaders of Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgzstan and Belarus on May 8, 2014, warns of growing Militant Nationalism and "Nazi" Ideology in Europe
MOSCOW, May 8 (RIA Novosti) – Militant nationalism, which has led to the appearance of Nazi ideology, is raising its head in Europe, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
“Here and there militant nationalism is again raising its head, the same kind that brought on the appearance of Nazi ideology,” Putin said during a meeting with the leaders of Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.

President Vladimir Putin has signed a law banning the rehabilitation of Nazism, the Kremlin press service said on Monday [May 5, 2014]. The law, which introduces criminal punishment of up to five years in jail for the denial of facts set out by the post-war Nuremberg trials and for the dissemination of false information on the actions of the Soviet Union during the war, was earlier adopted by the parliament. Publicly desecrating symbols of Russian military glory or spreading information disrespecting public holidays related to the country’s defense will be punishable by a fine of up to 300,000 rubles, ($8,400) or community service for up to a year, RIA Novosti said.
Just in time for the big bash on Red Square on May 9th. Won't it be grand.
I predicted this outcome on my Saturday, April 12th radio broadcast (it was totally predictable) while the big Putin fans at the Daily Stormer kept down-playing it as "probably not going to happen." So now what? -cy
Carlos W. Porter has just completed the tedious task of reformating the entire Dissenting Judgement, in 11 parts, of Justice R.B. Pal from the Tokyo Tribunal of 1946-48, first published in 1999.
"Publication of Pal’s dissenting opinion at the Tribunal was prohibited during the Occupation years, and even after the allied Occupation was over and Japan had regained her independence, it failed to draw the attention of the Japanese except for a few who had special interest in the Tokyo Military Tribunal. In a word, it was almost forgotten among the Japanese.
Monument to Justice Radhabinod Pal in Japan
"One thing that Pal was especially concerned about regarding the war was the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. On visiting Hiroshima in November 1952, four years after the Tokyo trial ended, he was reportedly shocked to know the meaning of the monumental inscription dedicated to the A-bomb victims: “Sleep peacefully, for we shall never repeat the mistake." [we = the Japanese leaders -cy]
“Why should the Japanese apologize to the Japanese?” he said with resentment, “It is not the Japanese who dropped the atomic bombs.” I would like to know what he would have said or, for that matter, what judgment the Tribunal would have passed on Japan if they had known at that time about the Emperor’s order to stop a project by the Japanese military to build an atomic weapon. The Emperor reportedly said that Japan should not be the first to make and use such an inhuman device, and thereupon the Japanese Army, by instructions from General Tojo, immediately gave up its A-bomb production project even at the cost of a possible final victory, while the U. S. decided to develop such a weapon and actually dropped two of them on Japanese cities just to shorten the war." -Akira Nakamura

Spectacular precedent-setting decision in Strasbourg: Anyone who disputes the racial murders of 1915 against the Armenians in Turkey can invoke Freedom of Opinion [law], and in accordance with it [the law], not be legally subject to criminal conviction - a Swiss case with big consequences.
Karl-Otto Sattler, Strasbourg, December 21, 2013
In a democracy, the state may not declare an objective and absolute truth of historiography and then enforce it by means of criminal law: With this reasoning the Human Rights Law Court on Tuesday classified the conviction of a Turkish politician - who had denied the thesis of the genocide of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire during the First World War - as a violation of the Freedom of Opinion [Law] enshrined in the European Council's Human Rights Charter. The landmark ruling of the Strasbourg judges goes far beyond this single case - because the Armenian question is also disputed in other European countries - for example, France.Disputed or Not?
At several conferences in Switzerland during 2005 the Turkish politician Dogu Perincek had criticized the characterizing as genocide of the massacres and deportations of Armenians occurring in the Ottoman Empire in 1915 - calling it international lies - though he did not dispute their occurrence. Because of these statements Perincek was, in the final instance - 2007, required to pay a conditional fine for racial discrimination. The [Swiss] Federal Court found [at the time] concerning the assessment of events during the First World War, that consensus prevailed in the sciences and in public opinion. A court had previously declared that the genocide of the Armenians was a recognized historical fact. And this truth had found its way into the Swiss Criminal Code.
Thanks to James Damon (right) for the English translation of this outstanding interview given by Erich Priebke to his Italian attorney Dr. Paolo Giachini and translated anonymously into German.
See UPDATE 10-24 from Dr. Giachini and Robert Faurisson at end of interview.
The Interview
Question: Herr Priebke, several years ago you stated that you never deny your past. Now that you are 100 years old, do you still think that?
Answer: Yes.
Q: Would you please elucidate?
A: Long ago I made the decision to remain true to myself.
Q: So, do you still consider yourself a National Socialist?
A: Loyalty to our past determines our convictions and our character. This is the way I view the world and my ideals. It is what was once our German Weltanschauung, the way we view the world. It is what still determines my sense of honor and my self-respect. Politics is something different. National Socialism perished with the defeat of Germany and today there is no longer any prospect of its continuation.

When did Mahler change from Red to National-Socialist?
H.M. Lenin was a great historical figure. He believed he was making a revolution, but it was something else that he has done. But that is always the lot of great figures.
M.F. But in the years when you were in the SPD, the SPD has indeed, already in the 50s and 60s, understood itself as the counter-response against Hitler. It has even been said “We Social Democrats have gone to the concentration camps because of Hitler.” What kind of consciousness did you actually have at that time? Or were you still a victim of Jewish propaganda and your guilt?
H.M. I have said it very clearly in my conversation with Baum, which was then published as a book: I believed these propaganda lies against the German Reich; Hitler was for me a poisonous thorn in the flesh of the German people, and we wanted to get rid of it.
Overseeing the NSU trial, presiding judge Manfred Götzl (3rd from left), is said to have control of the proceedings in spite of the chaotic presentation of evidence.
The following report is loosely taken from http://www.dw.de/nsu-trial-adjourns-for-summer-with-many-unanswered-questions/a-17002533 and http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/nsu-neo-nazi-terror-trial-advances-despite-complexity-a-913817.html -carolyn yeager
The trial of four suspects, accused of aiding a "neo-Nazi" terrorist cell, has adjourned for a month-long summer break after being in session for 32 days. So far, the accused have largely refused to answer questions.
The opening of the trial, which was first announced would begin in January 2013, was delayed until May for various reasons of incompetency. In three months time (May through July), the Munich court only managed to be in session for a single month of days. That is being called satisfactory advancement by the media, who are careful not to criticize Judge Manfred Götzl or the state.
Carlos Porter’s new book War Crimes Trials and Other Essays refers to the International Military Tribunals put on by the Allies in the city of Nuremberg following Germany’s defeat in WWII. There were 13 “trials” but the first and most famous was of the “Major War Criminals” (so-called), prosecuted by the young American Colonel Telford Taylor(pictured right) under Chief Counsel Robert Jackson. Porter's first essay is “Anatomy of a Nuremberg Liar,” which compares Taylor’s description (in his own book) of the “defendants” testimony to what the actual court transcripts show.
Among the Third Reich personalities covered are General Erich von Manstein; Foreign Minister Joachim Ribbentrop; Rudolf Hess; Head of SS Security (SD) Ernst Kaltenbrunner; Head of Reich Labor Deployment (after 1942) Fritz Saukel and Field Marshall Erhard Milch (Luftwaffe).
